Stillwater Science Challenge

The Stillwater Science Challenge is an on-the-spot science competition in the style of the Science Olympiad. Students form teams of no more than three students and compete against other teams in two divisions: Middle School and Senior High divisions. It is open to students in grades 6 through 12 who live within the boundaries of Stillwater Area Public Schools, no matter where they go to school.

Student winners of Da Vinci Fest 2019

The winning teams receive traveling trophies depicting a bust of Albert Einstein. The trophies reside in the school of the winning team in each division. Individual students also win cash prizes. First place for each division will be awarded $50/team member and the team name will be added to Science Challenge trophy. Second place will be awarded $25/team member.

The 2019 challenge was to build a Ballon Launch Glider. They were launched from a large mylar balloon to achieve maximum flight time.
