THE PARTNERSHIP PLAN MAKING A BIG IMPACT IN STILLWATER AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Partnership Plan awarded 12 new Spring Classroom Grants, bringing the total number of classroom enrichment initiatives to 25 and the total funding to nearly $30,000 for the 2023-2024 school year in Stillwater Area Public Schools. These grants support a wide range of projects, from Maker's Labs at the high school and middle school to dance instruction at the St. Croix Valley Area Learning Center to multicultural cooking classes at Brookview Elementary.

For a full list and brief descriptions of all the grants awarded, go to The Partnership Plan website at www.partnershipplan.org/classroomgrants.

The Partnership Plan, the educational foundation for Stillwater Area Public Schools, supports classroom enrichment beyond the financial means of District 834. Twice a year, the foundation invites teachers to apply for grants that will creatively enhance learning opportunities for their students.

The Partnership Plan’s impact goes far beyond the confines of Classroom Grants- it fuels district-wide initiatives that enrich students' lives. Every 4th grader enjoys a trip to Orchestra Hall to prepare for band and orchestra in 5th grade. All 5th graders dive into theater with a week-long residency program in the spring. Mental health receives focused attention through multiple grants at all grade levels. The Partnership Plan even supports the Pathways Program at Stillwater Area High School, aiming to help students find their right pathway post-high school. The Partnership Plan goes beyond the classroom to ignite passion and expand horizons for Stillwater students.

The Partnership Plan also sponsors DaVinci Fest, an annual science, art, upcycling, and film fair that celebrates academic talents of Stillwater-area students. This year's event, held on January 27, 2024 at Stillwater Area High School, drew nearly 2,000 attendees for the all-day celebration.
