Mother Nature tried to hold us back with the threat of rain and cold weather, but she did not succeed! The Partnership Party 2024 was a resounding success, thanks to all of you who attended and showed your support for our mental health initiative. We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $26,000 to further our cause and make a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges all across our district.
Recognizing Excellence: Partnership Award Winners
One of the highlights of the evening was celebrating our nine Partnership Award winners. Partnerships Awards honor outstanding members of Stillwater Area Public School staff for their dedication, professionalism, and work on behalf of our students. These staff members are honored as representatives of the many exemplary teachers and support staff who are making a difference in the lives of the students of Stillwater Area Public Schools. This year’s winners were: Jody Kinney, Megan Groves, Angela Burke, Lisa Milanovich, Margy Butala, Corrie Christensen, Amanda Mateer, Liz Nelson, and Andrea Schueler. Their hard work and passion have truly made a difference in our community, and we were honored to recognize and celebrate their achievements.
A Night to Remember
From the moment you walked through the doors, the energy and excitement were palpable. Guests mingled and connected in the beautiful tent provided by Rustic Roots. Grant recipients shared how the grants they received from The Partnership Plan created WONDER in their classrooms. We played games, ate delicious appetizers from Scheel’s Catering and celebrated the over $214,000 worth of grants that the Partnership Plan was able to put right back into Stillwater Area Public Schools this year. The atmosphere was filled with positivity and hope. At the end of the night, teachers and staff from Stillwater Area High School told us about the Mental Health impacts that and they see in their school and what they are doing to combat it. This phenomenal community raised over $26,000 to continue our support of the Mental Health Initiative.
thank you
We’d like to thank you all for your support this past year. Together, we really do make a difference in the lives of students in every building of our district. We would like to give a special thank you to Andrea and Greg Sandager from Rustic Roots for hosting us, Luke Kene of Leverty Financial Group and Kyle Johnson of Johnson Bealka Law for sponsoring the event, Nicole Heggernes of Nicole Larie Photography for capturing the amazing photos and our amazing Board of Directors, who once again rolled up the sleeves on their red shirts to make this night an amazing success.
Finally, we’d like to give a huge shout out to each and every one of you. Whether you were at the event or supported us in other ways throughout the year, this community comes together in big and small ways all year long to support our schools. You matter. You make a difference. And we are so happy you are part of our team, helping to bring WONDER to classrooms throughout the district.
