INVESTING IN LITERACY

This summer, we were thrilled to award a $15,000 grant to provide a complete set of letter boards to every K–2 teacher in the district. Each teacher will receive all materials needed so that every student in his/her classroom can utilize a letter board in a variety of lessons.  While these might look simple, these versatile boards will help young learners build foundational literacy skills through hands-on, interactive activities—making learning letters, sounds, and words both engaging and fun.

SUPPORT FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

As we welcome everyone back to school, The Partnership Plan is proud to continue our tradition of supporting the people who make learning possible. While students are still soaking up the last days of summer, The Partnership Plan has been making an impact across Stillwater Area Public Schools.

Before the first bell has even rung, we’ve already accomplished so much:

-  We have dedicated $58,000 from our endowments to support our annual grant efforts.

-  We have received more than $100,000 in area/regional foundation support.

-  We have approved over $20,000 in Mental Health Initiative grants.

-  We have already approved one Classroom Grant and have more on the way.

-  We have awarded 36 New Teacher Grants to welcome educators to our district.

When you add in scholarships, sponsorships, and other awards, we’ve already committed $156,973.55 to support students and staff in Stillwater Area Public Schools—before the first kid has even walked in the door.

It’s going to be an extraordinary year, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
